Ianna Velazquez is a Dominican-American artist from Miami! She enters every room with an authentic, effervescent spirit grounded in her roots, bringing both heart and that 3-0-5 heat in one package. She is a proud Gator currently pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Florida.

Onstage, Ianna carries a magnetic energy that pulls audiences into her world. She is constantly finding ways to continue growing as both an artist and a human being. From speaking on a Latinx radio show to traveling the country collaborating with different artists, nothing can stop her from exploring new stories.

Ianna’s goal is to create work that makes people feel. She believes art is as important as breathing, and storytelling has always been her favorite way to contribute to the world. She strives to collaborate on projects that celebrate individuality, joy, and depth, leaving every space a little brighter and warmer than she found it.

Ianna is currently serving as a dance-captain and performer for the University of Florida’s School of Music, Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance.
