I’m Ianna, a passionate Dominican-American musical theatre artist and advocate for Latinx performers, born and raised in the 3-0-5, Miami, Florida! I come from a very Dominican household. In our culture, you learn to dance/feel the rhythm and beats of music before you can walk. I carry my roots with pride in whatever room I walk into. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the love and support my family has shown me. I am a tough cookie, and I strongly believe that “sí se puede.”

From putting on different wigs when I was little to now wearing wigs for shows, I’ve always loved to share my passions with an audience. My ultimate goal is to be part of projects that make people feel something. To be part of shows that make little girls, who look just like me, with big curly hair say “I can do that too.”

I’m currently getting my BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Florida. Go Gators! When I’m not performing, you can find me painting, grooving in my room like a little worm, listening to music, or having a movie ready to watch at all times.
